Wynn’s DPF & GPF On-Car Cleaner 29079B is a professional 500ml low-foam, non-flammable cleaner developed for cleaning diesel particulate filters (DPF) and petrol particulate filters (GPF) without removing the filter from the vehicle.

Designed primarily for professional workshop use, the formula helps remove soot and ash deposits from blocked particulate filters, providing a fast and controlled on-car cleaning process.

Pre-Application Checks

1. Check fault codes and confirm particulate filter blockage.
2. Check engine oil level. If oil dilution is present, flush the system and replace the oil and filter.
3. Ensure the vehicle has at least ¼ tank of fuel.
4. Warm the engine to operating temperature and switch it off.
5. For Euro 6 diesel vehicles, disconnect the Air Flow Sensor to prevent EGR operation.

Application Instructions

1. Insert the applicator tube into the particulate filter through the pressure sensor pipe, temperature sensor or oxygen sensor. Ensure the sensor is below turbo level.
2. Spray the entire contents into the particulate filter.
3. Allow the product to soak for 15–30 minutes.
4. Refit the sensor.
5. Start the engine and allow it to idle for 5 minutes.
6. Run the engine at 2,000–2,500 rpm for 5 minutes.
7. Reconnect the Air Flow Sensor if previously disconnected.
8. Clear fault codes and reset DPF data if required.
9. Carry out an extended road test.

Best Practice

After treatment, an oil system flush followed by an engine oil and oil filter change is recommended.

For diesel engines, Wynn’s recommends using Diesel Extreme Injector Cleaner + DPF Regenerator. For petrol engines, Wynn’s recommends GDI Efficiency Restorer + Catalytic Converter & O2 Sensor Cleaner.
